The Cockpit Lounge is our favorite restaurant in Landstuhl hands down. Great atmosphere and terrific food including thick, dry aged T-bone and porterhouse steaks. The nachos are very American with melted cheese, ground beef, jalapenos, and sour cream. One serving is enough for two people. Sitting at the bar is great if you're lucky enough to get a seat. Overhead is an actual rotating airplane propeller. The bartenders make great cocktails and service is exceptional. Unless you walk in at 5 PM when they open, you probably will have a hard time getting sat without making reservations. Highly recommended!

We had the filet which was delicious and the salmon pasta which my wife wasn't sure if it was her feeling bad or if it want that good. I chalk it up to her bit feeling well because it looked delicious. I'm just not a fish eater. The wait staff were all very attentive and fun. I ordered the steak medium rare and it came out more rare by American standards. They gladly put a little more fire on it to get it up to medium-rare like I like them. One of the best steaks I've had here in Europe over the past 2 years.

It's full of airplane stuff, but at least the food is good.

I was here for about a month and I've enjoyed every moment of it. The wait staff are all wonderful, beer is great and food is delicious. Definitely a place to go for a unique dining experience or even just a place to grab a drink and have a good time.

OMG. The best dinner. I had the herb encrusted salmon with tomato sauce and rice. By far the best salmon dish in the world!!!! I visit many places and nobody makes a better salmon dish than the Cockpit Lounge. I could eat this every day

Excellent Food Their Asparagus is a must, in season. Burgers, Pizza or Traditional German; Great Staff, Love the Atmosphere. Free Parking for customers. Did I mention the dry aged steaks and daily specials...WOW ! The staff is friendly and efficient as well. Free parking, see your server to trade parking ticket for an exit token.

Well, a nice place to watch some NFL and take some drinks with friends.

Eat very delicious, my daughter and girlfriends were also excited. Since I had a handicap with my hand, the waitress let me quarter the hamburger. Hamburgers (with chips) and salad with chicken fillet are very recommendable.

Very very good food, everything was fresh and good, fair prices except for the whiskey, because I think a bit overpriced and the selection of good Scottish whiskey is limited, as you realize the much American audience there wrong, but otherwise highly recommended, who nice service good and well maintained food, is right here and Steakliebhaber feel in good hands
